James Is Your Friend

I am not a poet in any stretch of the imagination.  In fact, I am not an “artsy & creative” type.  I am the more “analytical & structured” type.  In effect, I have never been someone to write great literature, paint a masterpiece, play an amazing piano solo, or write a touching poem.  However, a few weeks ago, I happened to come up with a small seasonal rhyme that I would hardly call a poem.  For what its worth, I thought I would just share it with you.  As you will see, it is not a grand work of art, it is just something simple.

Fall is in the air,

Leaves are everywhere.

Do not shed a tear,

For Christmas is near.
