James Is Your Friend

My name is James and I am your friend.  Why? Because you are valuable and you are loved.

This website and everything I do is based on this idea that “James Is Your Friend.”  I want you to know that I mean that.  I really am your friend.  If you are reading this, I am talking about you.  Yes, you!  You may be saying, “This James guy doesn’t even know me, how can he be my friend?”  Well, I can be your friend because everyone needs a friend and I want everyone to know that I am available to be a friend for them.

Honestly, I don’t care who you are or what you have done, I am your friend and I care about you.  I believe that you are valuable and you are loved.  In fact, I love you.  Yes, I really do.  I love you enough to accept you for who you are and it doesn’t matter what you have done.  I’m not perfect and no one is perfect, so why should I be exclusive?  If anyone has told you that you are worthless or that you are a waste of a life, they are wrong.  If you believe that you are worthless, you are believing a lie.  I believe that you are valuable and that you are worth something. In fact, there is a reason you are here on this earth.  You have a purpose!

Now, some of you may think I am a fake.  However, I don’t know what I can say to convince you to believe that I am real and I really mean what I say.  ”Well,” you say, “how is this even possible?  How can you love someone that you don’t even know?!”  

This is why:  I know Someone who knows you completely.  He knows more about you than you know about yourself.  He knows EVERYTHING - the screw-ups, secrets, sins, guilt, and all.  And He loves you perfectly and He has perfect love. This Person also loves me and I love Him.  I trust Him with all my life and since He loves you, I love you.

Who is this Person?  His name is Jesus.  Jesus loves you and because He loves you, I love you.  You may say, “Yeah, but you don’t know what I have done.”  I may not know what you have done, but I know what Jesus has done.  He died for you so that you can be forgiven, that’s how much He loves you.

Jesus loves you and so do I.  Always remember:  My name is James and I am your friend.
